Course Description
An 8- to 14-week practicum providing supervised student teaching activities at either the elementary, middle, or high school level. Students practice teaching in a school system, which permits them to interact with students and teachers in their area of concentration. Working closely with the on-site supervising practitioner, students develop instructional units and must be engaged in 300 hours of teaching. The practicum is open only to students who have completed their education program sequence. Co-requisite: TH463.Prerequisites
Enrollment in this course is restricted to alums who completed Emerson's theatre education degree coursework and are thus eligible to enroll in Student Teaching Seminar and Practicum courses
