Course Description

1 Remote Session Course

Practice editing a manuscript, using the recommendations in the new edition of the Chicago Manual of Style. Learn how to apply “house style” to a manuscript and how to create your own style sheet for a specific project. Participants will develop awareness of the elements of style, including spelling, capitalization, abbreviations, and numbers.

Students participating in Professional Studies non-credit courses must possess a minimum of a High School diploma and must be an adult age 18 or older. Non-credit courses are taken primarily by professionals seeking to develop new skills, broaden their expertise, and build a knowledge base for their professional or personal goals.
