Course Description

"Topics announced prior to each term in the areas of Communication Studies."

This course examines the use and functions of various forms of nonverbal communication (NVC), including eye contact, personal space, physical appearance, gestures, facial expressions, among other areas. Special attention will be paid to how NVC influences both online and f2f relationships. Different contexts such as organizational, public, political, family, and friendships will be addressed throughout the course.
