Course Description

"Studies the adaptation of novels into films, and the narrative conventions that govern each medium. Texts include the works of such writers as Kesey, Burgess, Kundera, Walker, Nabokov, and Puig; films include the work of directors such as Kubrick, Forman, Spielberg, and Babenco."

Prerequisites

This course is available for undergraduate credit.

To be eligible to enroll in this course:

  • Students must be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at a College or University and have taken prior coursework in literature at the freshman or sophomore level
  • Students must possess a minimum of a high school diploma and must be an adult age 18 or older to participate.
