Section 001 Intro to Campaign Fundraising

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to campaign fundraising. Students will develop the basic skills of political fundraising, including building a finance plan and cash flow documents, understanding legal compliance and reporting, the art of solicitation and stewardship, and identifying a fundraising strategy using the various tools available to candidates and campaigns. Students will participate in hands-on exercises to learn how campaign fundraising works at every stage of the process.


This course is available for undergraduate credit. Students must possess a high school diploma and must be an adult age 18 or older to participate.
