Course Description

"Online content development and management is essential for successful strategic communication. All online communication formats websites, mobile devices, social media platforms must have engaging content to inform and persuade audiences, citizens, consumers, and communities. Communication professionals must be experts in designing online messages that are heavily influenced by the algorithmic logic of search engines social medium platforms, and geo targeting technologies. Audiences as individual users can be strategically targeted based on online activity. Search engine results can be influenced by high quality digital content and strategies. Integrating compelling persuasive message content for public relations, advocacy, and promotional campaigns with online targeting techniques provides organizations opportunities to reach individuals along with their communities and networks."


This course is available for undergraduate credit. Students must be enrolled as a Junior or Senior at a College or University, possess a high school diploma and must be an adult age 18 or older to participate.
